Responsible gambling

FootyDesk is a research tool, not betting advice. You must be 18+ (21+ in many US states) to gamble. Most bets lose; the bookmaker's margin means the average bettor loses over time.
Signs it may be a problem
- Betting more than you planned, or chasing losses.
- Borrowing money or hiding betting from people close to you.
- Feeling anxious or irritable when not betting.
Practical limits
- Set deposit and time limits with your sportsbook; most licensed books offer them.
- Decide a fixed bankroll you can afford to lose and never top it up after losses.
- Use self-exclusion if you need a break.
